I finally found some half breasts at the store, so I'm going to combine two of Chef John's recipes. He has a recipe for pan chicken with a delicious sauce and he also has a great recipe for salt roasted chicken (whole chicken baked in an oven). So tonight I'm going to make salt roasted chicken breast in the oven and then make the sauce separately in a pan. The sauce won't be as good because you're supposed to use all the little bits of chicken in the pan after frying it, but I'm going to try it anyway.

California chicken salad, a cream curry dressing, grapes, toasted sliced almonds, and chicken of course.

okara patties, non descript middle of the road flavor profile, onion, peppers, black pepper, garlic, dijon, ketchup, and worcestershire. i had mine with salsa, he had his with baked beans and salsa. We were hungry, it was hot, that did the trick.

I tried out a new recipe that I am not likely to make again. It was okay. I wouldn't mind eating it if someone served it to me. I didn't think it was good enough to bother making again. It's called, Grapefruit, Bufarella & Chili Crisp Salad. Bufarella is a locally made water buffalo milk mozzarella.

I followed that with a bagel with cream cheese, chopped onion, capers, and cold smoked salmon.
