Speaking of pets on another thread - I did use movies to name a few of them... there was Peggy & Sue (newfies). Amelia & Earhart (geese). Thelma & Louise (geese). Baby Jane (goose).
George & Gracie (geese) although George went thru several morphs depending on circumstance, Lonesome George and another George I can't remember at the moment. Two German Shepherds called Shaft. and a cat Mitzou (a singer).

So many great movies - many already mentioned. But how about:
  • Office Space
  • To Wong Foo! Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar
  • Secretary
  • Blues Brothers
  • Monty Python and the Holy Grail
  • Broncho Billy & Paint Your Wagon (my two favorite Clint Eastwood movies!)
  • Star Wars
I really could drone on for hours.....

Absolutely! Movies that stay with you long after the credits roll are the best, aren't they?

One that comes to mind is "Arrival." It's a sci-fi movie about a linguist tasked with communicating with aliens who've landed on Earth. Without giving anything away, it plays with time perception in a way that really makes you think. I spent hours after watching it trying to untangle everything in my head!
