Sausage with skin?

If you read the OP, from this year-old post, you'll see she usually cooks them in the microwave, doesn't like 'stove spatter', and thinks peeling off the skin is too much trouble. In other words, she doesn't want to cook anything, and certainly doesn't want to make sausage from scratch.

If she is talking about breakfast sausage, she can buy skinless 'brown 'n serve' sausages. They are available frim the major food brands, and usually found in the freezer cases.

If she is talking about something more like a dinner sausage (kielbasa, smoked, etc), then there are many precooked sausages available from national brands that only need to be heated.

I can sympathize with people who don't like italian type sausages and don't care for the jimmy dean type, we made that in the butcher shop and it was called savory duck, no duck of course but very similar flavor, its not very popular.
so its make your own or go without.
