I made some Chicken & Wild Rice Soup yesterday and let it meld overnight in the `fridge... thought S&P's Cast Iron Skillet Rolls would be perfect with it ... IT WAS!!!
For dessert, I had another Roll with loads of Butter & Jam
I made Joey's version, using TJ's Dark Beer and maybe it's just me, but I think these have a more Yeast-y taste to them, very nice.
I will try Andy's version using milk at some point ...
DH said, "These are the best Rolls I've had!"
Ssshhh! Don't tell him it's brushed in melted Butter, TWICE!!!
He ate 5 in one sitting!
The rest went into a Tupperware® for breakfast tomorrow.
I'll split them, toast them and spread on more Butter and Jam
