I have a Breville smart grill. Works great but it seems to me that normal usage and care the plates should last longer than a few months. They are now getting rusty.Everything sticks and it fills the kitchen up with smoke and the stink of burgers. Replacements are around $50.00 a plate. I expected the last set I bought 4 months ago to last. It's not economical to keep replacing them.
As much as we all love grilling here I'm thinking of an alternative.
Amazon has 2 smokeless grills that I'm looking at.

I like the Phillips but watching a video it seems like it tilts around.
People say not to use it on marble countertops.
Simple living looks almost exactly like the Phillips. Just less expensive.
Which one would you pick?
I know nothing is exactly smokless. For as much as we enjoy a good Q, doing it outside isn't always feasible. Those bags of charcoal get heavy.
I hate the wind.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thankies
Munky.
