Just gotta add about the cat...her cat tree arrived yesterday and I finally got it together after 3 hours. It's really a two person project. Shadow slept in one of the baskets all day. I took her blanket off the heater, assuming she wouldn't want to sleep there anymore and threw it on the work table in my living room. It's my dog's old blanket I bought in 1982 to celebrate his finally getting a CDX degree in obedience. Tonight the cat jumped on it and skidded all the way across the table but she's sleeping on it now while it's pouring outside to the point I'm beginning to worry about flooding again. No wonder all my plants are dying - they're drowning.

Kitchen pet peeve? I want a garbage disposal. No matter how careful I am, some stuff always goes down the drain. I have holding tanks so I tend to worry about this a lot, even if they are connected to the septic system.

RR there are drain attachments available at the hardware store. Not expensive at all, couple of bucks. Usually either a fine sieve like or a bunch of small holes like a colander. They are an annoying PIA for draining the water but actually work quite well for catching debris.
Come in two sizes.
