i live near San Francisco, CA. if i had to pick my favorite hobby, it would be kayak bass fishing. a very close second is cooking at home. i enjoy eating a meal out and trying to recreate it at home.

anyways, just a regular person that can cook fairly well at home. talk to you all soon!

Welcome to DC boom!

Kayak bass fishing, hmm, never having done either I must ask, I know bass can get pretty big and can put up a good fight. I also know that kayak can flip... have you ever had to flip your kayak back upright and not lost either your rod or the fish?

certainly, a risk. but my kayak is super stable, and luckily i haven't flipped yet. i have flipped it on purpose a few times just to practice getting myself back in safely. i assume all my gear is gone at this point.

Good to know! Hope you never have occasion to lose your gear nor a fish.

So tell us about some of your recreations! success in a particular field? Find the sections that might deal with that style, such as baking or grilling, maybe a sauce for vegetables or Asian styles? and post them in there. It helps others to find it again, especially if we want to emulate your success or LOL avoid your errors.

dumb question. excuse my ignorance.

what's up with that food review forum, right below this one? that Kleenex person is really into processed foods? or he keeps the lights on around here, with his reviews.?

Kleenex enjoys telling people what he thinks about a product he has purchased and tried. Nothing more, nothing less. Many of us enjoy reading about things we may or may not be tempted to buy.

Don't be afraid to ask him a friendly question should you have one. He's always accommodating should you not understand something he has said.

By the way, my mother always told me there is no such thing as a dumb or stupid question. If you don't know - ask!

Of course, there could possibly be a dumb or stupid answer.
