Chicken - refreezing?

That depends on how long it has been thawed or left out. Most people would tell you not to, but under certain circumstances it has been done successfuly many times.

If the chicken was thawed under refrigeration, it can be re-frozen safely as long as it has not been in a thawed state for too long (just as you would not keep fresh chicken in the fridge too long).
