But, there is oyster in most oyster sauce, even though there are no whole oysters in it. There are also soybeans, but no whole soybeans, in my soy sauce.I complained to a waiter the oyster sauce contained no oysters,

I think he's saying that the lobster sauce is *for* lobster, like steak sauce is for steak. But, there is oyster in most oyster sauce, even though there are no whole oysters in it. There are also soybeans, but no whole soybeans, in my soy sauce.
I have heard of vegan oyster sauce.
Probably, but oyster sauce is used mainly for stuff that isn't oysters. I have never heard of using oyster sauce on oysters.I think he's saying that the lobster sauce is *for* lobster, like steak sauce is for steak.
I've not done this in quite a while, but it is really good! Now that you mentioned it, perhaps I need to make it again soon!Something I love to make with ground pork is deconstructed egg rolls. Grab a bag of pre-cut coleslaw mix add soy sauce, garlic, ginger and sambal and you are good to go.
In rereading this thread (thanks taxy), I've become curious to that 'deconstructed egg rolls'.I've not done this in quite a while, but it is really good! Now that you mentioned it, perhaps I need to make it again soon!
This is how I make it.**Bump*
