Watched Clarkson's Farm season 1 & 2 on Amazon Prime.
Funny show.
Last night Chris Rock: Selective Outrage. Netflix.

Well I got lucky one day online and got to watch for free the 2023 Oscar nominated long form documentary Fire of Love about Katia and Maurice Krafft who are a married and just do nothing but go to Volcanos to film, photograph, etc....
The production value here is why it has a legit shot to win the Oscar. All that old video footage and photos used just bring the whole story to life.
This is a must see piece of work on the life of these two very important people. I say this is on a couple of streaming services if you want to pay to see it.

We just watched Devotion - about a "group of aviators" (U.S. Navy pilots) in the Forgotten War (Korean War). Excellent movie...and if you can watch it on a DVD, do watch the Extras too.

Watched "Faraway" on Netflix last night. Really enjoyed it.
Just watched "finding 'ohanna" - very good, another really enjoyable movie. If you want to understand K'girl's Aloha you have to watch this.

One of the cozy mystery series I've been reading referenced the movie Ratatouille. We saw it shortly after it was released, so we decided to watch it again. Still a sweet, cute movie.

As always I get my self intp watching something stupid. Somebody posted a "short" on FB, movie called WIFE LIKE, all in caps, me, not paying atention, (what's new) reading WI FI LIKE. Oh, ok I think to myself something futuristic about WI FI. Right? Wrong. It was absolutely dumb and horible, and stupid and bad, and made no sesnse and the way they end it, looks like they are settioong up for a sequal, Please, please No.
Not fall to far from it was Bulet Train, that one I just had to stop watching after 15 minutes or so.

Over the weekend, we watched The Wonder. Takes place in the mid-1800's. Opens with a young girl that has been fasting for 4 months, since her 11th birthday. It is different and did hold my attention. A couple of surprises. We enjoyed it.
We also watched, Luther, The Fallen Son. Not what you might think, from the title. It is about a (former) London cop that must escape from prison to catch a serial killer. Another movie that was not predictable and we enjoyed it.

I was watching Luther the other night but never finished. It's been good so far.
Meanwhile I watched We Have a Ghost on Netflix. Quite enjoyed that.

I have We Have a Ghost on my Netflix list too. Thanks for the recommendation! Do finish watching Luther...it is worth the bother.
I intend to - on my list of never finished movies, including Enola 2.

My book club read "The Wonder" a couple years ago. We thought it was excellent. I've seen the movie, too. It seemed a little slow, partly because it's so hard for filmmakers to translate the characters' thoughts to the screen, but it's a good adaptation of the book.

Oh, we liked Enola 2, too!
So I finished Enola 2. It was great, thoroughly enjoyed.
War with Grandpa - a couple of really loud LOL's on my part. Pretty sure they were heard upstairs. I even managed to get thru the snicketypoosnay scenes - nor did I have nightmares. (and that's a first)
So many of these movies have motives/lessons/morals. I think some should be required viewing for youngsters.
'Unicorn Store' and 'I Kill Giants' I watched quite awhile ago and can highly recommend.
