Whats the best Tex Mex beans & rice

I need help with a beans and rice dish, can I use roman beans or red beans or pintos are they all the same?

I normally use pinto beans.

I too use Pinto Beans. Different beans often impart different tastes, textures and look but people interchange beans in a recipe all the time.

I also use pinto, or red beans (not kidney beans). There is a creamy pink bean that is good, too.
