Cilantro chutney
Hmm, it was nothing like the texture of any other chutney I have had. Chutneys are usually like jam. This was fresh.Cilantro chutney

That sounds familiar. It tasted like there was both cilantro and mint in it. Funny, I dislike both cilantro and mint, but this, in small doses, was pretty good.thanks, taxy. not the greatest focus on the last shot.
btw, the green stuff is a kind of raita, probably cilantro or mint raita, i think.
I did some Googling and it looks like that's what it is, unless it's cilantro, mint chutneyCilantro chutney

Raita seems to have yogourt and this definitely didn't have yogourt. The other sauce was mostly yogourt.

nice tax......verrrrrrry nice!I was too tired to think about what to cook. I was too tired to walk a block and a half to Casa Grecque. So, I phoned Tandoori Taste and ordered the house biryani, tandoori mixed grill, and some roti. I drove to pick it up. It was awesome.
Anyone know what that green sauce is called? It seemed to have cilantro, mint, hot pepper, lemon or lime juice, ...
thanks k.the one in the pic is cast iron.i use it for everything..meat,fish,seafood,veg,pineapple slices etc.....trick is to get it smoking hot & nothing sticks.YUMMY!!
We must get a griddle, they would be perfect for cooking steaks
