Yeh. I got ambitious. I made sushi. I have some pictures, but the rolls aren't cut yet. I'll post the pictures when the rolls are cut. :yum:

What tool? And, can it be made without the nori? I'm not a big fan.

Hit this link: https://store.spam.com/musubi-maker
In Hawaii, I bought two to bring back with me, always have a back up!
As to not using the Nori, sure, you could use a nice lettuce leaf or Shiso, tofu skin (inari).
Some folks will make their Musubi with just a very thin strip of the Nori and then on the opposite side of that coin, they will wrap the entire block of Rice in it... I go for medium.

Was going for Chicken Alfredo. After a long nap, I reheated some goulash. Seems like goulash or spaghetti is likely a Monday or Tuesday special!

I knew we were supposed to have at least one cool and rainy day this week, so I bought a tub of Capt. Parker's clam chowder last time I shopped. We had that tonight, along with some warmed Vienna bread.

Looks great. Makes me hungry! Note...I have not saw sushi mats at the store in a really long time.

Chief, do you take your photos with the camera straight up and down portrait style? If so, give the camera a quarter turn counter-clockwise and take photos landscape style. That worked for me to get the photos to post right.

Andy, was that a custard based recipe? If no cooking or eggs are involved, could you please share it? I bought blueberries for ice cream but haven't made it yet.

I haven't made blueberry ice cream, but I have a good recipe for strawberry ice cream that doesn't involve eggs or cooking. I can't imagine that it would be too different for blueberries. The sugar might need to be adjusted. Well, you probably don't need to slice the blueberries. I would just squish them a bit and you won't have to worry about the ice cream being too pale.
