SEEING-TO-BELIEVE
Head Chef
i gave some money to holocaust survivors this week
So why are you asking us?It's actually considered to be extremely rude to ask someone if they have donated money, goods or time, in Israel. It is also considered to be boasting to say that you have done so, as it is thought to be shaming the person you tell, implying that they have not done so.
In Judaism it is a duty, an obligation, to help those in need, and telling people that you have done so, negates that obligation.
It wasn't Phaedra who asked, Andy, it was SEEING-TO-BELIEVE.So why are you asking us?

Apologies accepted in the spirit they were given Andy. Both using the Israeli flag for an avatar [which is something I have always done] can be a bit confusing. Thanks, I saw that too late and took it down. My apologies.
