What a great idea, LT! I'm starting a pot of chili now. It is a quick, "Slim Jim" chili. Not made with Slim Jims, but a lower calorie kind of chili. I think we'll have Red Lobster Biscuits with the chili. Yum!
We had leftovers. We almost finished them all. It's nice to have that out of the fridge. The bit that didn't get finished is all in one small container. It should be a bit easier to find stuff in the fridge now.
The Instant® Pot just finished its Natural Release and we've got a lovely pot of Split Pea Soup with the added Ham Hock meat, lovely!
And there's enough of this to stash some in the deep freeze as well as make a big ole bowl for Mom.
And believe it or not, DH really likes this
We had scalloped potatoes and ham for lunch today, and there was enough left over for me to have some for supper along with a small bowl of corn cut off the cob. Chocolate chip cookies for dessert.

When I made the pork chops last night, I also roasted three split chicken breast halves. I seasoned them generously with rotisserie chicken blend, planning on making chicken and wild rice soup. I decided they would be dinner tonight. Himself ended up taking one of the leftover pork chops, though. I thoroughly enjoyed 2/3 of a chicken breast - they are huge!
