Roasted beet gnocchi with a mascarpone/gorgonzola sauce, arugula/red onion salad, and some mini Pane Francese slices of bread. Yes, I like lots of butter on fresh bread.
We finished the leftovers from the Chinese resto delivery on Sunday. The amount of food left looked like it would last for another meal or two, but it was really good and we finished it off. We will definitely order from that resto again.
The NYT bread I made earlier was the perfect compliment to the French onion soup I made tonight. I used a variety onions; sweet, purple, white and yellow; and topped it with a slice of the bread and Gruyere.
