Friday 2024 September 27, what did you eat?

I had an easy, Danish, pasta dish that I have made before. It was fusilli in a creamy bacon, spinach, and onion sauce. I had a salad of greencrisp lettuce, scallion, cucumber, and finocchio. I dressed it with some of my batch vinaigrette, brand new batch today. I enjoyed that.

I made split pea soup.

Had to go to Walmart so we stopped at McDonald's and got a $5 Double Cheeseburger meal.

At the end of the day, I couldn't figure out what would hit the spot, and found raspberry/banana nice-cream with cocoa nibs and a black bean brownie with diced glace cherries. it was perfect.

Thanks, but we only got some heavy rain and 30-35 MPH occasional wind gusts when 1 of the outer bands moved thru. We were really far away from landfall and on opposite side of state.
