This is kind of a cross between a Bánh Mì and a French Dip
Ingredients:
3-4 pound Boneless Roast
1 cup Beef Broth
1/4 cup Black vinegar
2 tablespoon Soy Sauce
1 tablespoon Honey
1 teaspoon Sesame Oil
1 teaspoon chopped Garlic
1 teaspoon grated Ginger
Pinch White Pepper
Optional Garnish for Dipping Sauce:
Chopped Green Onion
Sesame seeds
Buns:
Your Favorite Bun
Pickled Onions and Cucumbers:
Thinly slice onions and cucumbers. Add a teaspoon of sugar then cover with 75% vinegar and 25% water.
Put roast in crock pot.
Mix other Ingredients and add to crock pot.
Cook until tender (Approximately 8 hours on low).
Remove roast and shred
Remove liquid and separate fat. Add broth to dipping cups and if you want add green onion and sesame seeds.
Toast Buns and add beef.
Dip and Enjoy.
