Canning Pears Question

@larry_stewart I think the kind of pear we have here is a bartlet pear. Some years it is bright green and nearly without blemishes, this year they were mottled on the skin, always the same shape. Not good eating out of hand, but, very good for everything else.

I was going to say lol, if I had pears that looked like that, I wouldn't care what they tasted like ! You should have taken credit, I never would have known
