A list of cookware of different materials?

Is there any reliable source that give a complete information on cookware and dishware made of different materials and suggest how and what tool they should be used to clean them and the corresponding precaution and care?

Sometimes if I just do Google, I find that different sites may vary or even contradict so I don't know which one is correct.

Just use your common sense and your cookware will last a long time.

Go to the website of a manufacturer of that type of product (Lodge for cast iron, All-Clad for stainles, T-Fal for non-stick, etc.) and they should have a section on what tools to use or not use and the proper method for cleaning it.

Dishware is pretty simple, use warm soapy water and a wet sponge or cloth. If something is proving difficult to remove, soak it.
