Andy,
If you go to IMDB, type in Sherlock and the first preview they show is of the one I watched. It goes on to others but it's that first one, for which I cannot find the season nor the episode.

Edit:
think I've found it is called "It's Not a Game Anymore" Season 4
I used the date shown on the trailer in a search and the above is what came up. 01.01.2017

That's the tv series I mentioned originally. It stars Benedict Cumberbatch. The guy in the trailer. It's labeled Season 4. We just started @ Season 1.

I wish they did more new episodes of Sherlock.

LOL, trust Prime and Netflix, things come and go. Will try to find Season 1. I've also started rewatching Death in Paradise but they stopped at Season 1. Such a pain!

Ok - figured how to do it and found Season 1 of Sherlock. Just watching Episode 1 now.

I'm watching season one on HULU.

Watched the film Babylon on three different evenings, I had to split it up, longer than three hours!
What can I say? Pure chaos, that's the only description I can think of.😳

I was traveling by plane and I decided to watch something. Challengers, by now it should be obvious to anybody who reads this thread, that i am a magnet for idiotic movies. Can I use that word? Well, it was.

This movie is for people who are looking for more than just eye candy in films - they want food for thought and nourishment for the soul too.

Just finished watching "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone". My cousin and I are binging the series in honor of Dame Maggie Smith. May she catch the Snitch first in the big Gryffindor/Slytherin Quidditch match and give Snape a good run for his galleons on the pitch.

Dame Maggie Smith

RIP September 27th, 2024,
a true British National Treasure.
Loved her wit, grace and talent! She will be missed.

The latest Documentary I saw for free from POV is Toyko Uber Blues. If you think you have seen all the pandemic related documentaries that existed this one is fully different and hits differently. The documentary is under 1 hour long and fully English subtitled.

This one was mainly shot with a mix of smartphones and GoPros by filmmaker Taku Aoyagi that takes us on his daily bike rides as an Uber Eats worker at the start of the pandemic. The editing here was fantastic. You want to feel for Taku as he goes through the start of the pandemic. If you have the time take a look at this one.

Watched Canary Black. Really dumb, but ok if you like watching fighting scenes. Kate Beckinsale is a main character. What did she do to her face? She doesn't look good at all.

Plot for a predictable action movie was good in Black Canary but something was really off - enjoyed it despite the wrongness... is that the directors' fault? Script? What...?

On to the new.... tonight I watched Green Book
2018 - A working-class Italian-American bouncer becomes the driver for an African-American classical pianist on a tour of venues through the 1960s American South. (imdb blurb)

With Mahershala Ali as the pianist and Viggo Mortenson as his driver.

Positively 5 Star! Great movie. Highly recommend!
