Potato from the garden, green beans from the garden, T-bone from the freezer. Very yummy - basted the stieak with tarragon butter.
Was a BIG steak, I had already had the tenderloin part quite a while ago and I have enough left over for ... somepin' tomorrow.

I guessed right about the leftover rotisserie chicken. Putting it in a chicken salad, the kind of salad you put on bread, was the perfect way to use it. There are enough other flavours in the salad to disguise the blandness and enough mayo to make up for any dryness. I had it on knækbrød (Scandinavian, crisp, rye bread, like a giant cracker). I had two pieces of knækbrød with chicken salad. Then I went and got two more. Finally I got another two. Now, I have had enough to eat. I really enjoyed that. Had an orange for dessert.

I find that leftover rotisserie chicken is a really great little dish just waiting to happen.
You can do all sorts of things with it - I often use it in Asian dishes and focus on the other ingredients for things like pho or stir fries.
Once you have completely stripped the meat from the carcass, then you have your major ingredient for a beautiful stock!
I like store bought chicken rotisserie mainly for its versatile uses and it gives me a lot of flexibility in where I can use it!

I certainly bought that rotisserie chicken in hopes of those other uses, but this just wasn't wonderful chicken. I can easily make better cooked chicken by just shoving some better quality chicken into the oven and roasting it.

I always save the bones from chicken when there are any. There is a plastic bag in the freezer door with bones from this chicken at the moment.
