I must thank our hosts, Joyce and Justin for such of a good meal tonight!
Uncle Nicu is home to here! Joyce made a very careful dinner of him. He has his gall bladder out of him and he must be careful of food.
She made the nice salmon on the cedar planks of the grill and made sure of no grease. I steamed of the corn on the cob and we also had nice cold slaw and ice cream!
Uncle Nicu is able to eat well and he was hungry and that is so good!
I think the hospital food perhaps makes him grumpy, yes?

Posting late because we got home today. We had Thanksgiving supper at my M-I-L's house. Turkey, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, Brussels sprouts, sliced cucumber, and vegis roasted two different ways. I made a tray of "regular" roasted vegis. My M-I-L put vegis under the turkey while it was roasting and had intended to throw them out. I tasted a piece of carrot and it was deeelicious, so we put out the rest of the turkey roasted vegis. There was pumpkin cheesecake for dessert. Everyone else liked it, but, I tasted a tiny bit and pumpkin, ick.

I'm late to the party (but you would be proud of me for all the work I'm getting done around the house), but Sunday's supper was salad and baked acorn squash with sausage stuffing. Himself was out astronomy-ing again, so we ate in shifts.

Yummers, Taxy! Thanksgiving dinner is always good, though it always needs gravy. Glad you had gravy!

Yeah, I agree. Gotta have the gravy made with drippings, which was really good.
