I have been "so ono" or craving/hungry for
Kara'age Chicken or Japanese-Style Fried Chicken!

Our new favorite way to eat this is served with my
Quick Cucumber Kimchi (we spell it as Kim Chee) and Sushi.

I went over to or local 'green grocery' aka Sprouts Farmers Market,
and picked up 3 trays of assorted Sushi and I'll get the
deep fryer going in a bit.

What's going on to your Sunday Supper table?
:chef:

It was stove top grill pan skirt steak and creamed spinach for dinner.

SC came home with lots of frozen shrimp on sale and I'm combining several recipes to come up with a shrimp dish with asparagus and orecchiette in a garlic balsamic butter sauce.

Souschef is such a good shrimp shucker. :D

If it turns out like I hope, I'll post the picture and recipe.
Fun in the kitchen..:chef:

SO and I went to my sister's home to visit with a niece visiting from CA. My niece and her two kids and nephew were also there. Dinner was a tenderloin roast, rice pilaf, asparagus.

Roast chicken, potatoes, veg...I love potatoes in duck fat...

We had whole wheat rotini and ham in cheese sauce with a side of steamed broccoli. OTOH, it looks more like broccoli with a side of mac and cheese. [emoji38]IMG_20200223_211054812.jpg

All of your Sunday Suppers sound and look ONO (delish) guys!

Roch, I've never had anything cooked in Duck Fat, other than, well Duck!

I made WAY more Kara'age than we would normally eat of any sort of Chicken Dish, but, we ate it all!!!!

Sorry that we ate it so fast, I didn't take a picture. The dish really surprised me with a half cup balsamic vinegar being so mild in the finished product.
It was unlike anything I've done before and really delicious. If anyone is interested, I'd be glad to type up what I did tomorrow.

We had leftovers. DH did something to his back, so I was running up and down the stairs a bit more than usual to get him stuff.

Fruit salad (fresh cantaloupe, strawberries, banana, canned peaches, a small drizzle of honey and a sprinkle of cinnamon sugar) snack last night.
