Sourdough Beginner - Tips?

Sunbeam® Large Enriched Bread 20 oz. Loaf - $2.22
Wonder® Classic White Bread 20 oz. Loaf - $2.58

I can’t imagine eating these breads. There are no nutritional value in then. I spend about $4-6 for a good loaf from Jessica’s Biscuit OR one of the local bread bakery for something that is multigrain whole wheat.

As someone else mentioned, I never throw away my starter. I just make scallion pancakes with it. Just take some starter out, add a little water to make it a little thinner and then cook away. It also keeps forever in the fridge.

I'll try to remember to take pix and post results. I haven't had time to start this week. Made an egg loaf though and it barely made it out of the pan before we devoured it. I suspect sourdough might suffer the same fate!
