WHITE GREASE PAINT:
Mix 8 tsp shortening, 8 tsp cornstarch and 1 tsp flour. Add 2 or 3 drops of glycerin for smoothness. Add food coloring for color.

BROWN GREASE PAINT:
Mix 1 tsp shortening and 2 1/2 tsp cocoa. Add 2 or 3 drops of glycerin.

Both grease paints wash off with baby oil, cold cream, or shortening.

SCAR TISSUE:
Mix unflavored Knox gelatin and drops of hot water to make a paste. Apply drooping open flesh with a spatula. Gently apply a layer of baby powder with a puff. Paint with acrylic craft paint to resemble scar tissue and blood.

Hope it's ok to have posted these here even though they aren't for food.

ARTIFICIAL BLOOD

ARTIFICIAL BLOOD
(Make-Up)
Stir some flour or white frosting mix into some clear
Karo syrup until it looks cloudy. Then mix in enough red food
color to get a good blood color. If too thick, add a little
water. If too pink, add more red. If too transparent, add
more flour.
Powder surface of grease paint to prevent blood from
gathering into drops. Or, scratch off grease paint in area
where you want to apply blood. Or, work up a little lather on
a bar of soap and paint a film of soap on the surface.
