Quinoa or not to Quinoa

A week or so ago I started a thread telling of my displeasure with Quinoa. I received several suggestions and decided to try it again. I rinsed the Quinoa and then put in with a rich chicken broth with a couple tablespoons of minced onion, brought it to a boil and then simmered it, uncovered until all the liquid was absorbed. Had a much better flavor than cooking it in water.

Made Chicken and Egg Fried Rice (Quinoa) with some veggies and it was most excellent.

Looking forward to cooking it with beef broth and serving a beef stir fry over it. My opinion has changed completely! Thanks for the suggestions.
 
I'm glad to hear it. I didn't like it the first time either. I don't think its an acquired taste, I think it takes some experimentation to get it right.
