I couldn't have people seeing my stove dirty. Right now I have glass top radiant but my next will be induction. I was at a friend's house in PA over thanksgiving cooking with his nice gas range, baking seemed fine, but the heat that the burners threw off made working at the range uncomfortable. We have high BTU burners at work and those are even worse. My work station has induction and cooking on those is amazing, best of both worlds, responsive, easy to clean, and doesn't throw off a bunch of heat.
