My names Rachel and i'm 22. I have pretty much zero knowledge about cookery, but i absolutely love food (it boarders on obsessive) and really want to learn more so boy, am i glad i found this place! My other half and i have lived together about a year so i'm really attempting the basics and freeazble things as we both work long hours.

I think a crock pot is what we call a slow cooker over here right? I have one of those, but i haven't really experimented with it - just the odd simple beef stew here and there. I must start using it again, now the weather is colder!
