Hello from a First-Timer

Writing some eighteen books on gardening, eight cookbooks primarily on outdoor-cooking (including the James Beard nominated The Grilling Encyclopedia), has kept me busy over the last few decades. Lifelong Bay Area resident, except for a few years in Kansas City, where this California guy learned all about barbecue. It was a good education.
