Well Steve, how did it go? You guys have fun? Everyone "oooo" and "ahhh" over the food and wine? Going to do this next year? Heck, have you recovered from THIS year? Hope you all had a great time.

Sorry CG, I didn't see this earlier.

The party went fabulous. I ended up making the Cornish Hens on the grill. They were a big hit. I also made Jennyema's stuffed cherry tomatoes, which went over great. I was concerned that the tequila flavor might be too much, but everyone seemed to love them.

We had a very good group of people. Everyone came in costume and hammed up their roles. There was one guest in particular - an older fellow in his early 70s - that I was worried might be kind of a wallflower. I couldn't have been more wrong. He was assigned the part of a playboy winery owner. I about fell over when he showed up in a leather jacket with two week's growth of beard, "bling" around neck, and dark sunglasses.

All in all, I think everyone had a great time.
