I so miss being able to grow food. I'd be better off shooting my food now in my backyard, because what I'd shoot is what would be eating any garden that I could grow.

I may look into a solar powered electric fence next year. I've always wanted an apiary, but I'm not sure a fence of any kind would stop a hungry bear in Springtime. I might just have to stick to veggies.
