Hi, thanks for the message, I haven't got that many cooking tips, but you can always ask, you never know I may have the answer, perhaps know more than I think I do!

My tip of the day to newcomers.

Don't add salt to boiling potatoes. My dad was getting on in age and would sprinkle salt in the boiling potatoes. They were unedible, super briny tasting.
I had to put a note on salt shaker that read, "Don't add to boiling potatoes". He would anyways. "Damnit, Dad"

My mum was a terrible cook, I can laugh about it now, I never could understand why things turned out so bad at every mealtime, her own mother and father were quite good at cooking, grandma was especially good at baking, maybe it skipped a generation. I was one of those kids that used to look forward to school meals!!!!
