and I thought, ya know, I can do that!

My trusty Hot Glue Gun
and the Stapler in my desk

It's beautiful. Nice work!

I don't make flowers, but I make stuff like knives etc., when I see one, and I know the satisfaction of doing it well.Recently I made a soft box for a friend :)
 
Very cute.

I've done that before, copied ideas I've seen. Last made DD 1 of those for halloween where the witch has flown into the door wreaths. Usually way cheaper than what they are charging too, but then again I've got the glue gun, wire, stapler gun etc already so don't have the from scratch expenses others might.

Well, went to the storage with my son, brought back 8 or 10 boxes. Some are craft... let's just hope ones I can use! LOL
 
Another idea that I saw on social media, I forget which, but I had saved it to try later ...

All of the components are from Dollar Tree.
I had the googly eyes, brown paper and red curling ribbon in my craft-stash.
Not a huge investment and there's multiples, so I can make more.
I'm going to put these in the 'Secret Santa' gift bags that DH & I will put together again for elders in our community.
Mom's Senior Living Community puts up several Christmas Tree throughout the 4 buildings.
The one that's at the entrance has cards attached with 'wish lists' on them.

Last year, we made up 2 gift bags, this year I'd like to do 3.

OK, so I got around to doing a little egg for the Wine store. I did one for the Olive Dispensary so guess I gotta do one for my 2nd home, eh?

and yeah, I sign them too, but it is so small most people can't even read it. Obviously this is enlarged, as it is on the bottom which, as people never pick them up, no one sees under the base.

and, thanks to medtrans guidance, I use museum wax to secure them to those bases.
 
I can't remember if I showed y'all this one that I made for my Mom's apartment balcony railing ...

A package of loose fabric Fall Leaves
Small Clothes pins
Some ribbon
A few Pumpkin picks
A hot glue gun (bought this at Dollar Tree years ago)

Mom loves it!

Diddling as I now have to pack up the goose eggs to send out to Edmonton, Alberta. Of course I can't find exactly what I want to use for packaging. :( :mad:
 
Thanks K'girl. I actually received some paper from an Amazon pkg just the other day - and kept it - also have some bubble wrap. but it's the actual eggs I need to buffer. A balancing act with the sizes too. Not too big and not too small, LOL I'll get there.
