What are you eating Monday, March 22, 2021?

Craig finally cooked his sauerbraten that I had started marinating/pickling over a week ago. I started the red cabbage this morning, then he finished cooking and watching over it while his sauerbraten cooked. He decided he didn't want to mess with making his grandmother's dumplings so made mashies. I'm stuffed. This kind of food is so filling.

We were out of the house for medical appointments most of the afternoon so we ate out of the freezer again tonight. We had lamb and okra stew with rice.
 
We had Italian sausage, potatoes, and salad with a homemade creamy dressing. I was going to make it blue cheese dressing, but I was running out of spoons and saved a few by not grating any blue cheese. For dessert, I used a new to me recipe from a Danish cooking site for an easy raspberry tart. I'll have to work on the the timing and temperature for that tart. I forgot to get a picture of it.
