Indeed. I took garlicjosh's advice and we used the last of the "slightly dense" bread I made earlier this week to make French toast for our lazy Sunday morning brunch. It was dee-lish!Good Luck! Don't get discouraged...it takes some time to get it down! And the "not quite rights" always taste good warmed up with butter!
Since we were out of dessert and I didn't get to the lemon tart yesterday, I just put a blackberry pie in the oven. It's smellin' good already. It's a great recipe and it's especially good since the blackberries came from our garden last summer. Yum! The ice cream's ready and waiting.
