Tonight for supper, I made another new-to-me Danish dish, "Boller i Karry" (meatballs in curry). Danish fusion cuisine that has become a well loved staple in Denmark. The curry sauce has onions and apples in it, as well as Madras curry paste and turmeric. It usually has a bit of whipping cream, but on recommendation from the comments where I found the recipe, I used coconut milk. It's just a bit at the end to round out the flavour. I served it with a green salad, some hot mango chutney, and brown basmati rice. We enjoyed that, but I will tweak the recipe.
