Hi there!
I've only been canning for a short time.I have made pickles successfully (shouldn't say that I haven't tasted them yet).Anyway my question is about banana peppers.I put them in the jars with salt oil & a vinegar water brine filled the jars, put them in a water bath but i found that the peppers are soaking up all the "juice" in the jar (about half)-some do some don't.they all sealed well but i was wondering if this is normal or did i do something wrong.
any feed back on this would be great. I would hate to think that i have 20 jars of pickled banana peppers to eat.
