Senior Cook
Hi everyone,
Nursing school has finished for the Summer, and I have over 3 glorious months to relax, hike and cook yummy dinners again. I passed my first year with straight A's, and so I've rewarded myself by purchasing a couple of Calphalon One Infused pans, and my very first Le Crueset...a 5 qt oval French Oven....which should be delivered early next week. I can't wait to use it. So far, I love the Calphalon One - I can actually sear things as well as I could in my cast-iron Lodge pans - but without setting the fire alarm off and smoking the house out every time LOL! I need great recipes to try out in my Le Creuset though - any suggestions? Hints and Tips? I must admit, I've relied on either a pressure cooker, or a slow cooker for casserole-type recipes before, so the French oven will be entirely new for me.
It's great to be back
