Did you 'copy' that line and insert it elsewhere at any time earlier? Perhaps you have a key that yoiu accidently press and 'insert'. Do you use a touchpad? Did your thumb pad lightly, butterfly kiss it?

I just bought a new trackball mouse, which I have used for, like forever, a Nulea M501 Wireless Trackball Mouse from Amazon, and it's rechargeable, so no batteries required. You just have to remember to plug it in once in a while.

It happened again. This time, I tried some things. I caught this one quickly. I highlighted some of the garbled text, and it fixed itself, so I highlighted all the text, and it all fixed itself.

Could be. But, why does it only happen on this forum?

I was hoping someone else who uses Safari (browser) on a Mac would have the same thing happen.

I use Safari on my phone. Haven't had issues.

Well the word salad thing went away for several months, but it is back again. The last few days, it has changed my posts several times. I can undo it by using the Command+Z on my Macs. But, it is annoying.

It did it to me on THIS post. Here is a screen capture of THIS post, with the word salad filter...

Perhaps I've mentioned this before? Often find that if there is suddenly a gremlin it is more than likely introduced by an automatic update to your computer.

BTW, my point was that I am NOT a computer wiz, by any means. I can figure out some things, but this thing has me perplexed. I have not noticed any keyboard combination that does it. Like I said, it went away for months, then came back in a big way the last few days.

At least I now know I can undo it when it happens.

There is a universal clipboard that macs use, it is located in the cloud, they hand off the clipboard of the phone to your computer/laptop/whatever, and they hand off the clipboard in the opposite direction as well. They call it a universal clipboard.

No, what happens is that I'll be typing a post, and suddenly, the text changes. It adds stuff I typed in another thread on the forum earlier -- it just pops into the post.
