Executive Chef
I attended a BBQ Comp class yesterday at Dover Downs Casino/Race Track. Great place.
The class was put on by Linda and Jerry Mullane, KCBS Reps featuring Fat Angel team, Philly Pigs team and Pig Pen team. What a ton of info on methods, tricks and tips. A great time.
If you get a chance to attend one of these type deals, do it. It's worth it.
There was a judges class conducted too. The boxes were assembled in the hotel/casino kitchen using their warming ovens and sinks. What a power kitchen they have. Had dinner overlooking the track.
A fun day.
The Executive Chef, Fred Bohn is the driving force behind the Diamond State BBQ contest held IN the track in Oct. Word is that they pushing to get up to 100 teams this year. He is a super nice guy and great to have as a supporter of our Q.
