Basic Question about Seasoning cast iron

It's pretty impossible to "season" an enameled surface.

I suggest you stop overthinking this and just use it. Its fine, as is.

And please never do the corn oil thing again for ANY cookware. Addie is right. You're lucky that you didn't burn your house down.

Before first use

Remove all packaging and labels. Wash the pan in hot, soapy water, then rinse and dry thoroughly. Your pan is now ready to be used and does not require any further preparation.
