It's going to be Taco Tuesday here in
"my kitchen in the middle of the desert,
or Casa K~Girl :chef:

I found some lovely already marinated
Carne Asada at the butcher's counter in
Sprouts and I couldn't resist.

PLUS, DH (not Poor Husband anymore :w00t:) got his Splint/Cast off this morning
and now has at least partial use of his
dominant arm once again

So I figured he'd be able eat Tacos tonight...
that's the plan anyways

As to "... taking a long pull on …" CERVEZA, that would
be a wonderful way to toast Anthony Bourdain I think,
along with a coupla Beef Tacos, oh wait he liked Burgers, hmmm

Sorry Anthony, I decided against the Beer tonight,
as it has been an incredibly tiring of a day,
but we did give a salute to your honor.
I simply made a nice meal, grilled carne asada
with homemade pico de gallo and some
shredded lettuce and radishes on
charred flour tortillas, which DH
did very well with, given it's his
non-dominant hand that
is still mobile and we're toddling off to bed early.

Didn't feel much like cooking in this heat; thawed some shelled mussels and threw 'em in 'Newman's Own' Fire-Roasted Tomato Sauce... should have made a Marinara ; Taste of the mussels was lost in the sauce...
