Did anyone eat Saturday, October 12, 2024?

Pork tenderloin, steamed then roasted with the pork Brussel sprouts, and rice pilaf.

Patagonian Spinach empanada from the Farmer's Market. Had one for lunch and the 2nd during the evening - traditional made by his madre!
Bought 3 frozen ones filled with carmalized onions - They had a different name but I can't remember it.
 
I added hamburger to Rice-a-Roni rice pilaf. I added an beefy onion soup mix envelope and garlic to the hamburger and used beef broth instead of water for the rice. I also added Wooster sauce to whole thing after the rice was cooked.

It might have been good if I had added mushrooms or carrots or something else, except that I don't like mushrooms or cooked carrots. I was trying to make up for the rice pilaf being sort of tasteless, but then so is regular white rice.

It wasn't bad, but it wasn't very good, either. So I guess this was another experiment that won't be repeated.
 
I didn't have a clue as to what to have. I made some rice to be waiting for what-ever I decided. Never could decide so 1+ 1/2 bowls of rice was all I had. Very satisfactory.
But... that being said, I do now have an idea for supper tonight!
