I made an executive decision that it was take-out dinner.
From our favorite Asian Bistro, Cucumber & Salmon Maki Sushi, Veggies with Beef and an upsell to Lo Mein
Not pictured is the Pot stickers and steamed Edamame that I make at home and save us $30 + tax & tip over dine-in.
Oh, and a Beer for Moi ... that's another $10 + ... I bought a six pack of this local Beer for $12 !!!

This afternoon, I went out to the bank and a stop at the grocery store (Maxi) and that just completely pooped me out. So, I was very glad to have leftovers. I had the rest of the pasta dish from yesterday with the bacon and spinach. That reheated really well in the microwave. I also had a bowl of the mushroom soup I made a couple of days ago. That reheated well in the microwave too.
Found a Loin Pork Chop in the freezer yesterday, about 156 gr. Pounded that out a bit, cut in half (small pan), dipped in egg white, bread crumbs and threw into some melted butter in a hot pan.
Was planning on doing some fried rice to go with but didn't get there.
None the less, was very satisfying.

Chicken salad, club crackers, grapes, chocolate chip cookies. Kettle corn for a snack.
Nearly as far south as you can get and on opposite coast of landfall. Heavy rain and wind gusts when outer bands of dry side went thru, but that's it.

I'm glad you're OK. I hear there's a couple of more storms forming now, too.
I had orange chicken with chow mein noodles and pork fried rice tonight. I didn't make it, but I did prep it. I had to pick all the sliced carrots and cabbage out of the noodles and the peas out of the rice. Yeah, I know, I'm a little weird.

Only 1 is a danger to land, and it is pretty much following the path Helene took right now but that could change due to air steering currents, highs/lows that could form.
