We had oven BBQ pork ribeyes, smashed potatoes, and fried okra from the garden. The pork ribeyes were an attempt to recreate a dish my grandmother made. It's close but not quite the same. I'll make it again!
On another note, I am trying to come up with a breading for okra that is very light and not at all heavy. This was simply flour with a bit of salt and pepper. However, it did not coat well. Adding other things (egg, buttermilk, etc.) make the breading heavy. Ideas are welcome!
