Check this out! Tools? Really? At least they included some cooking stuff! Looking because, 4/24 is 29 for us.

For spouses
Budget:
Give them new “tools” for their favorite pastimes and hobbies. This might be a manicure set, drill bits or cooking utensils.

Splurge:
Give them the fancy table saw or sewing machine they’re always drooling over.

In an empty toolbox, tuck a gift card to a hardware, home improvement or home décor store, and tell them to fill it up!

For another couple
If they like to cook, give them useful kitchen gadgets.

Accidently posted this in another thread.... sorry folks who saw it and wondered.....

Been still browsing those high-end stoves/ranges.... Like up to $500,000 - as in Brad Pitt's and George Clooney's styles. pant - pant :-p :-p (for the stove, not the guys - gotten waay past that stage.)

So, are you hoping for that table saw you've had your eye on?
Don't kid about women and their power tools. A friend of mine asked a couple of times for the scroll saw she wanted. Had to threaten her hubby with the "if I don't get it this Christmas, I'll buy it as a New Years gift for myself". "Santa" finally came through.

Build your own. fairy tale castle kitchen - choose your colour, cook top, even the handles/knobs.
Not sure, could be just gas or both.
I want to move. To be near the beach again. So, I spend a lot of time on Zillow. Dreaming. One of the houses I marked had one of these...in a huge kitchen. Sadly, it sold already.

My husband has lots of power tools, and I have my very own tool box, and I use the tools for simple jobs around the house. Anything complicated, he does. Of course, he has access to my tool box, and I can use his big stuff in the workshop. So far all I've used is the big screwdriver that won't fit in my tool box.
That stove looks like trouble to me. Cleaning it? Are those brass fixtures? I doubt that Brad or George cook much.

Many of my "tools" seem to grow legs and walk off. Or, DH will say, "I'll trade you"...and I always get the bad end of the deal! LOL...fortunately, I do know how to get things replaced...IN PINK. They tend to remain mine that way. :ROFLMAO:

LOL - I dislike - extremely - my son's power tools. I'm sorry I got rid of mine when I came here. He tightens them - I cannot change the bits - the day he saw me start to use his table vise.... :whistling

But one thing is clear between us. When you empty my compressor - do NOT finger tighten the release valve to YOUR perceived finger tight....
