Smores Cookies from Conversations with a Cupcake blog. I'm a sucker for anything that says "smores" I guess. The neighbor rescued our trash cans from super-high winds the other day and I want to thank her.

Gave the phyllo pastry a workout today:

6 dozen tourtiere triangles for our belated Christmas dinner on Sunday and for DH to take to work today.
3 dozen spanakopita bites
5 dozen mushroom bundles
3 dozen mini quiche Lorraine (in pastry, not phyllo)

Since it is after 1 am it is Friday Jan. 2nd. I mixed up a batch of NYT bread dough with bread flour, oat flour and AP flour and will bake it 12 hrs. later. Going to mix a batch of 5 min a day cheddar cheese bread later.

Today is my last day off work this week, back to work tomorrow - I think I'll see what my daughters want to bake and that will be what we do. Hopefully something simple and quick - I just want to relax today.
