DW and I, both of Depression Era parents,,,, inherited the "frugal" genes....
it has come to the point that I'm fixing to get a dumpster and start tossing everything and anything.
our kids are all successful in their own right - they buy/have/own everything they want/need.
no, they don't need/want three generations of sterling silverware . . .
or china.
our son covets my copper cookware, so there's some slim hope .....
I am a hobby woodworker - made many pieces including two solid oak desks and full 'office' sideboys/file cabinets - my guess is they'll go for $10 a pop at the estate auction . . .
it is a dismal anticipation thing . . . but it is a truth we have no option but to own up to.
