Curious if anyone has a Thermador induction with cooksmart option. I am wondering when to use the cooksmart option and when to use the normal cooking options (1-9). They say to use it for frying foods and it keeps the pan at a constant temperature. They also say to use it for pancakes, which is considered frying? Based on this, I am getting the impression that you use it for anything other than sauces or pot cooking? Just curious if anyone has experience with this technology and when to not use it and why.

Thanks

I have a Thermador Induction cooktop, but it isn't "cooksmart". I have the "Freedom" model. It has the 1-9, plus a "boost" setting. It also has timers, but no Cooksmart.

Sorry! Hopefully, someone will come along with input in short order.
